Apparently your motherboard was only supported through Vista, and from the looks of it either almost all the drivers were built in to Vista or it wasn’t very well supported because I see nothing listed for audio at Gigabyte. You can download the device drivers from Gigabyte WEBsupport site, select your model motherboard to download: Find More Posts by chapel.

Despite oodles of googling Aidio I can’t find a solution I will just buy a new soundcard but this is a last resort. Just tell it what you have plugged.

Unplug every audio device, open Realtek HD Audio Manager and start plugging them back one at a time, the manager should automatically detect that something was plugged in a specific port. Helpful 1 Not Helpful Flag.

The website recommended here just scan my computer for drivers update. The only driver I suggest not to download from Gigabyte is indeed the Audio driver.
